Hari Om Engineering Works

Hari Om Engineering Works is located over at Lati Plot, specifically at 5/6. If you know where Momai Candy is, then we are right nearby. It is a noisy part of town because of all the workshops, and we contribute a fair bit to that noise ourselves. Inside our shed, we have got lathes and some heavy welding equipment that stay busy most of the week. There is always a layer of iron dust on the tables and the floor. We don't wear suits or sit in offices; we are out there with the machines. Most of the jobs we get are from local people who need a specific part made or something fixed that snapped off a larger machine. It is hard on the back and the hands, but it is what we know how to do. We have been in this spot for a while now and the routine stays pretty much the same. Morning starts with some tea and then we turn the power on. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning just getting them to behave. We don't have a website or any of that, we just wait for people to drop by with their work. It is a simple life centered around metal and grease. The air always smells like burnt oil and cooling fluid, which you get used to after a few days. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
