Geeta Engineering

You can find Geeta Engineering at G-207 in Gidc Lodhika. We are right near Kunal Paint, which makes us easier to find in this maze of buildings. The workshop is a bit old, but it’s solid. We’ve got lathes and drills that have seen a lot of use over the years. I started this place with my brother, and we’ve stayed in Metoda because it’s where everything happens for engineering. It’s not a clean environment; there’s oil on the floor and metal shavings in the corners. We wear our old clothes and just get stuck in. Most of our day is spent fixing things or making new parts for local businesses. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It’s a very practical way of working. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three jobs come in at once, but we figure it out eventually. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. We just focus on the work in front of us. The air usually smells like burnt oil and cooling fluid. It’s what we’re used to after all these years. We’ve been here for a long time and know most of the neighbors. We just keep our heads down and try to do a decent job on every piece that comes across the bench. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best to stay busy and keep the lights on.
