Gayatri Engineering Works

Gayatri Engineering Works is located at the Bala Wala Pump House, specifically within the Vithalpur Project area in Sanghaer. It is a very specific spot, mostly known to people who work on the project or live right nearby. The pump house itself is the main thing you notice when you arrive. It’s a functional environment, not meant for visitors to lounge around in. We spend our days dealing with the mechanical aspects of the project. Sanghaer is a place that feels like it’s always under some kind of construction or maintenance work. You can hear the constant hum of the pumps and the sound of water or machinery in the background. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a receptionist or a lobby. Instead, you’ll find us with our sleeves rolled up, usually covered in some grease or dust. The Vithalpur Project is a big undertaking and we are just a small part of that gear. The local roads can be a bit rough, especially after it rains, making the commute a bit of a challenge. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decorations because they wouldn't last long in this environment anyway. We focus on getting the machinery running and keeping things moving. People know where to find us if they have something that needs fixing or checking. It’s just work in a place that’s all about utility and keeping the water moving where it needs to go every day.
