Ganesh Engineering

You can find us over at Plot No. 1 in Laxmi Nagar. It’s right there in Chandreshnagar, and if you know where the Chamunda Mataji Mandir is, then we are just a short walk from there. Ganesh Engineering has been around for some time now. Our workshop is usually a bit messy with metal scraps and tools lying around, but that’s just the way an engineering shop looks when there is actual work being done. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly fixing things or making small parts for people in the neighborhood. It’s not a huge factory or anything, just a local spot where a few of us work every day. The noise from the machines can be a lot sometimes, especially in the afternoons when we have several things running at once. We like being in this part of town because it’s a good community. People stop by to chat even if they don’t have a specific job for us. We drink a lot of chai and just try to get through the list of tasks we have for the day. Nothing here is very polished or fancy. We just use our hands and our tools to do what needs doing. If the gate is open, it means we’re inside working on something. It’s a simple life and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal work.
