Out here at Plot No. 2646 on the Kranti Gate Main Road, things are always moving. We are located in the Gidc Lodhika Industrial Estate, which is a bit of a drive out on Kalawad Road towards Metoda. It’s a massive area, and sometimes it feels like you can get lost just trying to find the right gate. Epp Composites has been here for a while, and the scale of the industrial estate means there is always construction or some kind of maintenance happening nearby. Our plot is quite large, which is necessary for the kind of work we do with composites and heavy materials. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, with the sound of machinery and heavy vehicles being a constant background noise. We have a fair number of people working here, mostly folks who commute from the city or live in the nearby villages. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but we keep our workspace as organized as possible. We don’t really spend time on making things look pretty for visitors; we are more concerned with the actual production. Lunch breaks are usually spent under whatever shade we can find, and then it’s back to the floor. It’s a gritty, practical environment where the focus is strictly on getting the day's quota finished. We’ve grown over the years, but the core of what we do remains the same, just honest industrial work that keeps the wheels turning.
