Our shop is number 18 on the first floor of Varudi Chamber 2. We’re located right near the Rafaleshwar railway crossing, or the fatak as everyone calls it. You can hear the trains passing by quite often, and when the gates are closed, the traffic just piles up outside. It’s a lively area because of all the ceramic and trade activity around here. Being on the first floor means we have to carry things up and down, but you get a good view of the street. It’s a small shop, not one of those massive warehouses. We deal with various things, but mostly we’re just part of the local trade scene. The office has a few chairs and a desk covered in ledgers. It feels like a real workplace, not a staged showroom. We usually have the door open to let a bit of a breeze in, even if it brings in the noise of the railway. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We’re just here to do business and talk to our customers face to face. People drop in after getting stuck at the fatak, just to kill some time or check on an order. We’ve got a rhythm here that works for us. It’s just a regular shop in a busy part of the district, and we like it that way. Every day brings something a little different depending on what trains are running. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise.
