D.K. Engineering

You’ll find us out on Gondal Road in Vasai, specifically at Survey No 29, Plot No 25 in the Shivam Industrial Area. We are tucked behind Hotel Krishna Park and right near Nijanand Pipes. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the landmarks. D.K. Engineering is a typical workshop with heavy lathes and tools scattered around. There’s always oil on the floor and someone is usually grinding something that throws sparks. We do a lot of custom parts and repair work for other businesses nearby. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. The office is just a corner with a table and a couple of old chairs where we talk to customers. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. Usually, the boss is the one answering the phone with grease on his hands. We work long hours when a customer has a breakdown and needs a part immediately. It’s noisy and dirty, but there’s a sense of satisfaction when a part fits perfectly. We’ve got a small group of guys who are good with their hands and don't mind the heat of the shop. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done right so the machines keep turning.
