Divya Engineers

My father started this place, Divya Engineers, and we’ve been at this spot on Thiruveethi Amman Koil Street Extension for longer than I can remember. Mannurpet is a tough place for an engineering shop because of the noise and the dust from the street, but it’s where we belong. Our address is right near Ranganathan Street, which stays busy from morning till night. Most days we are just buried in metal shavings and the smell of machine oil. It is not a clean place, to be honest. There are lathes running and people shouting over the noise of the grinders. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. It's just a few of us in the workshop making parts and fixing what breaks. If you walk past No. 1, you will probably see me or one of the guys with grease on our hands. We don't really do the corporate thing. We just show up, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever job is on the bench that day. Sometimes the machines act up or the power fluctuates, but that is part of life here in this part of town. People know us around here because we have been in this exact building for so long. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the engineering work that needs doing for the local shops and businesses nearby.
