Dev Engineering Co.

Dev Engineering Co. is located at number 7 in Kiran Society, right off Kotharia Main Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, always full of trucks and bikes, so there’s a lot of dust and noise coming in from the front. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly small parts and repairs that people bring in. The workshop has that smell of grease and metal that you never really get off your clothes, no matter how much you wash them. We’ve been in this part of Kotharia for a while, and most of the other business owners around Kiran Society know us by now. It isn't a fancy setup with air conditioning or glass doors; it’s a working shop with tools scattered on the benches and projects waiting to be finished. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is stuck or a tool breaks, but we just keep at it until it’s done. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the machines work. People drop by with things that need fixing, and we take a look and see what can be done. It’s practical, everyday stuff. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, making it quite warm inside, but we’re used to it. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right for the people who live and work around here.
