Dayal Roller & Flour Mills

If you drive down Morbi Road, you’ll find us there. We are Dayal Roller & Flour Mills, and as you can imagine, it’s a bit of a dusty business. There is always a fine layer of flour on everything, no matter how much we sweep. The sound of the rollers is just part of the background noise for us now. We’ve been on this road for quite a few years. It’s a busy route with a lot of traffic, which is good for business. We start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the milling started. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the grain is okay. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just the mill and a small corner for the paperwork. The staff here is like a little family. We have lunch together and complain about the heat when the fans aren't enough. We aren't trying to be some massive conglomerate. We just want to produce decent flour for the people who need it. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing it with a wrench and some patience. That’s just how it goes here. It’s honest, messy work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. If you’re passing by Morbi Road, you’ll probably see the trucks lined up near our gate. We've been here a while and we know the business well.
