You can find us at number 8 in the Maninagar Mavdi Plot. We have been doing engineering work at this location for a long time. It’s a straightforward workshop where we handle whatever projects come through the door. Mavdi Plot is a well-known area for shops like ours so there is always some kind of work being done nearby. Our space is full of the usual stuff you’d expect like lathes and welding gear. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because we are always cutting metal or grinding something down. We have a few grease stains on the floor that have been there since we opened. We don't really have a secretary or anyone to answer phones so if we are busy with a machine we might miss a call. Usually people just walk in and talk to us directly about what they need. It’s a very local way of doing things and it works for us. We spend our days measuring and cutting and then putting things together. The summer heat can be tough in the shop but we just drink plenty of water and keep at it. We aren't trying to be anything big or fancy. We just like doing the work and seeing a job finished at the end of the day. It’s a simple life but it keeps us going.
