Balaji Exports & Imports

Balaji Exports & Imports is located inside the Vimal Consumer Store, which is part of the Super Market in Saraf Bazar. Saraf Bazar is mostly known for jewelry, but there is a mix of everything if you look close enough. We operate out of this space, handling both the local consumer side and the broader export and import side of things. It is an interesting mix. On one hand, you have people coming in for daily items, and on the other, we are talking to people about shipping goods across borders. The store is usually pretty busy with foot traffic. We have a small corner set aside for the paperwork and the computer. It can get a bit loud with the shoppers, but we have gotten used to the background noise. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things. We have a lot of stock coming in and out, so there are always boxes being moved around. The staff here is small, mostly family or people who have been with us forever. We don't really do fancy titles. Everyone just helps out with whatever needs doing at the time. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the import filings take twice as long as they should. We have a few stools for sitting, but mostly we are on our feet moving things. Saraf Bazar is a lively place to be, and there is never a dull moment. We just keep our heads down and do our work. It is what we do every day.
