Auto Tech Fastners

We are over here at 1-Mahadev Wadi, right across from the Shrinathji Havali on Laxminagar Main Road in Rajkot. It’s a pretty busy part of town. Auto Tech Fastners is basically just a workspace where we keep all our supplies. The shelves are packed with boxes of bolts, screws, and all kinds of small hardware. Most days, the air is a bit thick with the smell of metal and the dust that blows in from the main road. We don't have any fancy displays or a reception desk. It’s just us and the inventory. The ceiling fan hums all day, but it doesn't do much against the Rajkot heat in the summer. People walk in looking for things they can't find elsewhere, and we spend time going through the bins. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there from years of moving things around. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We’ve got a small corner for tea and water. The building itself is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time counting out parts and writing things down in old ledgers. It is a simple life here, just dealing with the daily tasks of the shop and making sure things are where they belong when someone comes asking for a specific part.
