Artworld

Artworld is based in Arya Kutir, which you can find on Dharmendra Road. It is a place that has always got something interesting sitting in the front window or leaning against the back walls. We are not really a high-end art gallery with perfectly white walls and total silence. It is more of a busy workspace where things are actually being made or framed by hand. There is usually a strong smell of paint or wood glue in the air when you walk in. We have been on Dharmendra Road for a long while now, and most people in town know they can just drop by to look around. It is a bit of a clutter sometimes, with canvases, frames, and brushes scattered all over the place. We do not really follow a very strict schedule; if we are working on a specific piece, we usually stay until it is finished. It is just a small group of us who really enjoy the creative side of things. We are not trying to be anything fancy or elite for the critics. We just like art and helping local people find something they actually like for their own homes. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of new stock in, but that is just part of the fun of running a local business. People come in to chat about their own projects or just to see what is new on the walls. It is a friendly, local spot for everyone who likes to see how things are made.
