The Gondal Road area is always humming with activity, especially near the Toll Tax Naka. Our place is at Survey No- 238 in Kothariya village. You have to go behind Vikash Exports to find the gate. It is a dusty patch of land, but it is where we do all our investment casting. The furnaces are the heart of the operation. It gets incredibly hot when we are pouring metal, so the workers are used to the heat. We do not do much marketing or anything like that. Most of the people who need casting done just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the trucks coming in and out. The process is old-fashioned in some ways, using molds and wax, but it works for the parts we make. We keep our records in big ledgers and spend the mornings checking the quality of the latest batch. Kothariya is a bit outside the main city hub, so it feels a bit more like a village community. We see the same faces every day at the local tea stall near the road. There is a lot of grit and hard work involved in what we do. It is not a clean job, but seeing the finished metal parts stacked up at the end of the week is satisfying. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in.
