Our place is situated on S.I.D.C. Road in Veraval (Shapar), right behind Sanjivani Casting. If you’re looking for us, you have to head toward Survey No. 164 and find Plot No. 06. It’s a dusty part of the world because of all the casting and industrial work happening around here. We deal with technocast parts, so the furnace is usually going and the heat is something you just have to get used to after a few weeks on the job. The guys on the floor are usually wearing heavy boots and gear because molten metal isn't something to mess around with. We have a lot of sand and molds sitting around the yard, waiting for the next pour. Shapar is a hub for this kind of work, so we have plenty of company on this road. Sometimes the trucks lining up to get into the different plots make the traffic move really slow in the afternoons. Inside the factory, the noise of the grinders and the roar of the machinery is the constant background music to our day. We don't have fancy leather chairs in the office; it's mostly just metal desks covered in blueprints and technical drawings. We focus on getting the pours right and making sure the molds are set properly before the day is out. It’s hard work and the days are long, but it is what we know how to do.
