Ambika Engineering Works

Ambika Engineering Works is situated at 12-Smarat End Area. If you know Gondal Road, we are right behind the ST Workshop. It is an industrial kind of area, so it gets pretty noisy with all the machinery and trucks going by. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Our shop is filled with tools and metal scraps, and it usually smells a bit like oil and iron. That is just the nature of engineering work, I suppose. We spend most of our hours fixing things or making parts that people need for their machines. It is hands-on work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don't have a clean office with white walls. It is a workshop through and through. We talk to a lot of local guys who drop by with something broken that needs a quick look. Sometimes we are working on something big that takes up half the floor space, and other times it is just small bits and pieces. We have a routine that involves a lot of measuring and cutting. It’s not fancy, but we know our way around the equipment. The heat can get a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. We just focus on getting the metal to do what it needs to do. If you find yourself behind the workshop on Gondal Road, you will probably hear us before you see us.
