S. P. Bricks

S. P. Bricks is located at 3/220 on Ayyankollankondan Road in the Virudhunagar district. It is a long road and we have a decent sized plot of land where we do all the manufacturing. The soil around here is actually quite good for what we do, which is lucky. We have been at this for a while, and the routine never really changes much. We wake up, check the kilns, and start loading the lorries that arrive early. Virudhunagar can get incredibly hot, so we drink a lot of water and try to find some shade when we can, though there isn't much of it in a brickyard. The stacks of bricks are like little red mountains all over the property. We have to manage the space carefully so the trucks can turn around without hitting anything. Sometimes we have issues with the transport, or the drivers are late, which throws the whole schedule off. That is just part of the headache of running a local business. We aren't some big company with a thousand employees. It is just a small group of us making sure the work gets done and the local construction projects have what they need. We don't use any fancy talk or marketing. We just make the bricks and sell them to people who come by the road. By the time we finish, everyone is exhausted, but we show up again the next morning to do it all over.
