Ppa Bricks

Ppa Bricks is located at 47, Devathanam, right on the 6 Main Road. We’re pretty close to Thangam Fancy Store and the mobile shop, which is helpful when people ask for directions. Being on a main road means there’s a lot of noise from the buses and scooters passing by all day long. We’ve gotten used to it. The yard where we keep the bricks is right there, and it’s always full of activity. We’re usually moving pallets around or talking to someone who stopped their bike to ask a quick question. Making bricks is a messy business, and our clothes definitely show it by the end of the shift. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle the materials. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons. We usually have a bit of shade in the back where we keep our tools and a few chairs for breaks. It’s a simple life. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People see us when they’re driving to work or going to the fancy store. We just try to keep the stacks neat and the area clear for the trucks to pull in and out. Sometimes we have to deal with the rain making everything muddy, but that’s just part of being in this line of work. We’ve been at this spot for a while and like being part of the local scene here.
