Hiwell Bricks

Hiwell Bricks is located at 426, Seethakadhi Street in Sammanthapuram. It’s a regular street with houses and other small shops, and we’ve been here for a while. The work involves a lot of handling bricks, as you might guess from the name. We spend most of our time out in the sun or under the shed, depending on what needs doing. Sammanthapuram is a decent place to work, though it gets a bit noisy when the tractors come through. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on getting the bricks sorted and making sure they are ready when people come to pick them up. The address 426 is easy enough to spot once you get onto Seethakadhi Street. It’s a simple setup we have here. There is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving things from one pile to another. The air usually smells like earth and smoke from the kilns nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the job. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a big load to move. We don't really do much advertising or anything fancy. People just know we are here on the street. It’s just us, some bricks, and a lot of daily chores to keep the place running. That is pretty much the whole story of our life here in Sammanthapuram. We just get the work done.
