M H H Bricks is located right at 23, Iron Kollam Kondan. It is a spot we have called home for a long time. Making bricks for a living is not exactly a glamorous job, but it is what we do to get by. Every morning we start very early to try and get ahead of the midday heat. The yard is usually full of tall stacks waiting to be moved out to customers. We deal with a lot of different people, from neighbors building a small garden shed to local builders working on houses. It is mostly just about getting the clay mix right and making sure the firing in the kiln goes well. We do not have a big corporate team or any marketing people. It is just us on the ground doing the heavy lifting. You might see us covered in dust and sweat if you stop by unexpectedly during the day. That is just part of the normal routine here. The location at Iron Kollam Kondan is pretty straightforward to get to once you are in the area. We try to keep the main gate open during the day so people can just drive right in. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it instead of working. It is a bit frustrating but that is just life. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just make bricks.
