Our office is located at House No. 1 in Adarsh Nagar, in the Rata Talai area of Raisen. It’s a quiet neighborhood, and our office is really just a simple house. We work as a liaison for farmers, which means we spend a lot of our time as the middle people. We talk to the guys growing the crops and then we talk to the people who want to buy them. It involves a lot of phone calls and sitting around with ledgers. Raisen is a good place for this because there are so many farms nearby. We aren't a big operation with lots of staff. It’s just a few of us who know the area and the people. We grew up around here, so we understand how the seasons affect everything. Sometimes it's stressful when the market prices drop, but we just try to find the best way forward for everyone involved. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs and a table where we can spread out our maps and papers. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. People in Rata Talai know where to find us if they need to chat. We just try to be honest and do a good job for the farmers who rely on us. It’s just plain, everyday work for us here in Raisen.
