Start with how things began. We’re over here in Pandhurna, right at Sewaram Kodulal’s place. It’s a group of us from the Mohkhed area who decided to get together as a producer company. Usually, farming is just one family doing their thing on their own land, but we figured maybe things work better if we talk to each other more. It isn't anything fancy. Most of the day is just spent checking the weather or talking about what seeds are doing well this year in Chhindwara. We deal with the crops we grow right here in Madhya Pradesh. It gets pretty hot and dusty out here, so we try to help out when things get difficult. There are a lot of us involved now. We keep our office at Belwanshi R2-14239. It's a simple spot where we meet up and try to figure out the best way to move our produce. Sometimes the markets are up and sometimes they are way down, which makes it hard for a single farmer to handle. That’s why we started Mohkhed Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s just about local people trying to keep their farms going without losing money every single season. We aren't big city businessmen. We just know the soil here and what it needs to grow things.
