Steel

We are based in Raipur. It’s a pretty big place for the steel industry in India, so it makes a lot of sense for us to be located here. We didn’t pick a fancy or long name, we just went with Steel. We work out of a regular, plain building here in town. Raipur gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we mostly stay indoors and keep the air coolers running while we manage our daily work. We don't have a huge staff or a big corporate structure with different departments. It’s just a few of us who know the business well and have been doing it for many years. We handle the logistics and the paperwork side of things for our clients. There isn't much to say about our history; we just started working one day and never really stopped. We don't go around making big claims about being the best or anything like that. We just do the job we are given. Some days are quite slow and some days the phone doesn't seem to stop ringing for even a minute. We actually prefer the busy days because they go by faster. Being in Raipur means we are right in the middle of everything that happens with metal and trade in this part of the country. We know the local market and the people who run the plants. We just provide a straightforward service to the folks who need it. No glossy flyers or sales pitches. We show up and work hard.
