G.P.I.L. (Hira Group),Raipur

Our place is over at Pragati Homes in Dhan Laxmi Nagar, Raipur. It’s a part of the Hira Group, known locally as G.P.I.L. The office isn't anything too special to look at from the outside. It’s just a solid building where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. Raipur can get really hot in the summer, so we’re always thankful for the fans and the shade. We have a lot of people coming in to talk about industrial matters and the group's projects. The desks are usually piled high with reports and ledgers. We don't really do the whole modern office thing with bean bags or open floor plans. It’s just desks, chairs, and people working. You’ll often hear the sound of the city outside, but we mostly focus on what’s on our screens. Lunchtime is usually when things quiet down a bit as people head out or sit in the break area with their tiffin boxes. Dhan Laxmi Nagar is a decent area to be in, and being at Pragati Homes makes it easy for people to find us. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us. We don't put much stock in being fancy. We just make sure the numbers add up and the correspondence gets sent out on time. It’s a steady pace of work that keeps the day moving along without too much fuss from anyone involved in the daily operations.
