Om Kamal Steel Pvt. Ltd.

We are over at No. 16- G in the Heavy Industrial Area, right in the Hatpoj part of Bhilai. It is a big, noisy part of town where a lot of heavy lifting happens. Om Kamal Steel Pvt. Ltd. fits right in with the other plants around here. We work with steel, so there is always the sound of metal clanging or cranes moving overhead. The heat can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our office is just a small section of the building, mostly used for keeping the books and taking orders. The walls are painted a dull color and there are always stacks of papers everywhere. We do not have any fancy brochures or a PR team. Most people find us because they need steel and they know we are here in Hatpoj. The trucks come and go all day, loading up and heading out to various construction sites. It is a gritty environment, and we usually have dust on our shoes by lunchtime. We do not try to make the place look like anything other than what it is—a steel plant. The guys on the floor know their business, and the folks in the office try to keep things organized. It is a simple setup, really. We just show up, do the work, and keep the steel moving for our clients across the region.
