Shivalik Power & Steel Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of Plot No.C-33 on the third floor of the Ashoka Millennium building for a good while. It is right there at Rajendra Nagar Chowk on Ring Road No. 1. Working in power and steel is a lot of hard work and most days are just about managing the logistics and making sure the orders are moving. It isn't a very quiet office, as there is always someone on the phone or a driver coming in with papers. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-tech. Most of our furniture is just old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The area around Rajendra Nagar Chowk stays busy all day, which is good for business but makes parking a bit of a headache sometimes. We focus on the steel side mostly, handling the supply chain and talking to vendors. It is a lot of practical stuff. Sometimes the power goes out or a shipment gets stuck somewhere, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We do not have a big marketing department or a polished image. It is just a group of people who know how the steel industry works and we show up every day to get it done. If you come by the third floor, you will see we are just a normal office trying to keep things running. We have been here long enough that the local tea stall owner knows our usual orders by heart.
