Scania Steels & Powers Ltd. has another office over in Raipur. We are located right behind the Adiwasi Hostal in the Tarun Nagar area of Kushalpur. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which is actually nice because it keeps the noise of the main road away. Kushalpur is a busy part of Raipur, but our little corner is relatively calm compared to the rest of the street. We have been here in the 492001 zip code area for a good stretch of time now. Our daily routine is pretty straightforward. We open up the office early, get some tea from the corner, and start looking over the logistics for the day. There is always a lot of paperwork to handle when you are dealing with steel and power. The office is full of files and old maps of the local area. We don't have any flashy signs or big mission statements on the walls. Instead, we have calendars and notes scribbled everywhere on scraps of paper. The people working here are all from around Raipur, so we know the city like the back of our hands. We don't believe in fancy marketing or sounding like some big corporation. We just want to get the work done right and go home. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit in the evening when it starts to cool down. It’s a very human way of doing business. We are just a regular part of the Kushalpur neighborhood, doing what we do every day.
