The office for S K S Ispat And Power Limited in Raipur is situated at 103, Maruti Heritage. It is directly in front of the MMI Hospital on Dhamtari Road. It is a pretty busy spot because of the hospital traffic, and there is always someone looking for parking around here or vendors selling things on the pavement. Our office is more of an administrative hub where we handle the paperwork for the bigger operations of the company. It’s a regular room in a commercial building, nothing too special or fancy to look at when you walk in. We have a few desks, some computers that are always running and humming, and a lot of files about power and steel production stacked up against the walls. The staff here spends most of the day coordinating between the different sites and the people on the ground. It can get a bit hectic when a big project is moving along, and the phones don't seem to stop ringing for hours. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic unless it’s someone dropping off a delivery or a contractor coming in for a quick meeting about a contract. The view out the window is just the main road and the hospital entrance where ambulances come and go. It’s a functional place where we keep the gears turning for the company. We try to stay organized, but with so many things happening at once, there is usually a pile of folders waiting.
