Om Steel Co.

We run Om Steel Co. from B-2/1 Surya Vihar, which is near Pachpedi Naka. It is a location that most folks in the area can find easily enough once they get to the Naka. Our setup here is pretty basic. We have the space for the steel and a small area where we handle the books and talk to visitors. Surya Vihar is a decent place to work out of, and we have been settled here for a good long while now. Every day involves a lot of the same tasks—checking the stock, talking to drivers, and making sure we know what is coming and going. It is a bit of a dusty job, and the metal can be heavy and stubborn, but that is just part of it. We are not into fancy marketing or corporate talk. We just tell it like it is to whoever walks in. If the stock is low, we say so. If the truck is late, we just wait. We just try to keep things honest and straightforward for everyone involved. The guys around here are hard workers and we all just want to get the day done right without any extra fuss. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when the sun goes down just to catch a breeze and talk about things other than metal. It is a plain life, but we like being our own bosses at B-2/1 and we value the routine.
