Nawtara Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Bidyanandapur village, near the Nawpara post office. You can find us at Tapash Ghosh’s house, as he is the one who helps keep everything organized for us. We are a producer company made up of local people who have been farming these lands for a long time. Bidyanandapur is a quiet village where most everyone knows each other, and we like that sense of community. We started this company because we wanted to have more control over how our crops are sold and how we get our farming materials. It is a lot of work to manage everything, and we don't have a lot of staff or fancy equipment in the office. It is mostly just a few chairs, a desk, and a lot of record books. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the village square to talk about the upcoming season. We don't use any big marketing words because we are just talking to our neighbors and friends. Sometimes the work is hard and the prices aren't what we hope for, but we keep going because we are all in this together. We just want to make sure that the people in Bidyanandapur have a fair shot at making their farms successful and keeping our village way of life going for as long as we can.
