Mahamaya Krishi Sewa Kendra

Mahamaya Krishi Sewa Kendra is located right near Jai Stambh Chowk. If you have been to this area, you know the chowk is always full of activity and noise. Our shop is where a lot of farmers end up when they come into town for the day. Bags of fertilizer and different tools are always leaning against the walls. It is not the cleanest place because there is always a bit of mud or dust being tracked in from the fields. We spend our time explaining how different products work and making sure people get what they need for their crops. There is no air conditioning here, so we just keep the ceiling fans going as fast as they will spin. Our old wooden counter is covered in scratches and pen marks from years of use. It is a very practical place. We do not worry about making things look pretty; we just want to make sure we have the right supplies in stock when the planting season starts. Most of our customers are people we have known for many years, so we often spend more time talking about their families and the weather than actual business. It is a community spot as much as it is a shop. By the end of the day, we are usually tired but content with the work we finished for the local farmers.
