Murli Rolling Mills

We are out here at Plot No 8 B in the Sarora Urla Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot, mostly trucks and dust. Murli Rolling Mills has been in this corner of Urla Gondwara for a good while now. The mill stays pretty loud during the day, which is just how things go when you’re rolling steel. Most of us have been here for years and we know the machines like the back of our hands. It gets hot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof, but we just keep at it. People come by looking for specific sizes and we try to sort them out as best as we can. There isn't much fancy stuff about our setup. It's just a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the rollers are doing what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes the power goes out or a truck gets stuck in the mud outside, but that’s just part of working in an industrial zone. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere, mostly just the workspace and a place to sit down for tea. It’s hard work, and we’re tired by the end of the shift, but the work gets done. You can find us right near the other big plants in Urla. It’s a tough place to work, but it’s ours, and we’ve been part of this landscape for a long time.
