Our place, Maalaxmi Rice Agro Private Limited, is situated within the Anshu Dharam Kanta Complex. This is in the Sarora Industrial Area, right off Urla Road. If you know the area, you know it is heavy with industry and trucks. Being near the Dharam Kanta is handy. There is always a scale nearby for the rice loads coming in and out. The air around Sarora is usually thick with the smell of grain and the sound of machinery. We spend a lot of time on Urla Road. We move stuff around and make sure the operations are running like they should. It is a noisy, busy place to work, but that is the nature of the rice business. We don't have a polished showroom. Our office is right there in the complex, where the actual work happens. You’ll see trucks lined up and people busy with the heavy lifting. It is a practical environment. We focus on the agro products we handle. Every day is a bit different depending on how much grain is moving, but the goal is always just to keep things moving. We deal with the farmers and the distributors and try to keep everyone happy. It’s a lot of manual coordination and staying on top of the logistics. Sarora is where the action is for us. We have been here long enough that the noise doesn't even bother us anymore.
