If you are looking for us, we are right at Geeta Chouhan's place in Ward No.7. This is in Nawaparagharghoda, Raigarh. It is a simple setup because we spend most of our time out in the fields anyway. We are a bunch of producers who decided to join up so we could have a better handle on our work. Raigarh has its own way of doing things and we fit right in with the local crowd. People around here know us from the market or just from seeing us work. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get done. Geeta’s house is where we keep the books and meet up when there is something important to discuss. It might be about seeds or maybe just about who is going to transport the goods this week. The weather plays a big part in what we do, so there is always a lot of talk about the rain. We handle the day to day stuff as it comes. It isn't a very formal business. We mostly just talk things through and get to work. Being in Nawaparagharghoda means we are close to the people we work with. We know the land and we know the struggle of keeping a farm going. It is just about helping each other out and making sure the crops get where they need to go. Every day brings a new challenge but we face it together as a group.
