We run Kedia Steel Pvt. Ltd. from the first floor of Gnd Chambers, right there at Agrasen Chowk. Being on the first floor is handy because people don't have to wait for the lift, they can just walk up the stairs. Agrasen Chowk is a very noisy place with all the shops and the traffic, but we've gotten used to the sound of horns after all these years. Our office is where we handle all the logistics for the steel business. It’s a plain room with some old desks and a lot of binders filled with invoices. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come in, you'll likely just find one of us sitting at a desk with a phone to our ear. We don't believe in spending money on things that don't help us move steel. It's a family-run sort of place, and we like to keep things direct and honest. The building itself is older, and the hallway could probably use some better lighting, but it works for us. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and making sure the trucks are on schedule. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, but we have a system that's worked for a long time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the steel where it needs to go and make sure the paperwork is in order.
