Jayanti Ispat

Our office is up on the first floor of Deshbandhu Complex. If you are near Agrasen Chowk in Ramsagar Para, you’ve probably walked past the building. It’s a central area, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the street coming up through the windows. We deal with ispat, which is basically just iron and steel. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at inventory lists. It isn't a showroom or anything. It's mostly just desks, files, and some samples sitting around. We have been in this part of town for a bit. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so it's not the easiest place to carry big things, but we handle the paperwork and orders here. Most of our customers are from the construction side of things. They know what they want before they even walk in. We don't really do much advertising. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they are already in the complex for something else. Some days it is very quiet, and other days we can't keep up with the calls. We try to keep things moving. It’s a typical small office environment. We have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down. Nothing fancy. Just a group of people working in the steel trade. We try to be helpful when someone has a question about a specific grade of metal. It is just a normal office for us.
