Jaikopeshwar Nath Krishi Producer Company Limited is run from Bhendri, specifically at Basuchand Sahu’s place. We are in the Loharsi area, which is part of Gariyaband, near Rajim. This is real farm country out here in Chhattisgarh. You won't find any skyscrapers or fancy glass buildings where we work. It’s a rural spot where people actually know what a bad harvest feels like. Being in Raipur district but out in the Rajim area means we are close to the river and the land is usually good for growing. Basuchand Sahu is a well-known name around here, so that helps people find us. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers from nearby villages about their rice or whatever else they are growing this season. The roads can be a bit bumpy getting out here, especially after it rains and the mud gets deep. We don't mind it much because it’s part of living in the countryside. Our office is more like a meeting room where people sit on plastic chairs and drink tea while talking about seeds and the weather. It is a very direct way of doing business. We don't use big words or have complicated computer systems for everything. Most stuff is handled face-to-face. Gariyaband is a beautiful place and being based in Bhendri keeps us connected to the ground. We just want to make sure the local crops get to where they need to go. It is honest work and it keeps us very busy all year round.
