You can find us at O-2 in the Farishta Complex, right off G.E. Road. Indian Ispat Works Pvt. Ltd. is the full name, but most folks around here just know us as the guys who handle the iron and steel work in this section of the complex. G.E. Road is always moving with heavy traffic, which makes our location pretty convenient for getting trucks in and out without much trouble. The Farishta Complex itself is a busy hub, and our unit is usually filled with the sound of metal hitting metal throughout the day. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we’ve grown to like it that way. Our office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main workspace so we can talk to people without having to yell over the noise. We’ve got a small team here, and most of us have been working with steel for a long time. We don’t put on any airs or act important; we’re just regular people trying to do a decent job for the day. The floor is concrete and often has scraps of metal lying around that we have to sweep up before we leave. There is always a faint smell of grease and cold iron in the air. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we are too busy out on the floor, but we catch up eventually. It’s just the way things are at O-2. We keep things simple and stay busy.
