Indian Ispat Works Pvt. Ltd. is based on the third floor of C-Block in the Farishta Complex. We are right on G.E. Road over by Rajbandha Maidan. It’s a central location, which makes it easy for us to get around. Since we are on the third floor, we don’t get as much street noise, but the stairs can be a real workout if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we'd like. Our office is mostly desks and stacks of paperwork related to the steel industry. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and logistics people. The view from the window is just the busy road and other buildings in the complex. It’s a professional enough space, but it definitely feels like a working office rather than a fancy showroom. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working in ispat and steel for a long time. There’s a kettle in the corner that’s always going for tea. We handle a lot of technical specifications and delivery dates. It gets busy during the middle of the month when all the orders seem to come in at once. Rajbandha Maidan is a landmark most people know, so it’s easy to give directions. We don’t do much advertising. People usually find us because they need specific steel work or industrial supplies. We just show up, do the paperwork, and coordinate the shipments. It's a steady pace for us every day. There’s usually a stack of ledgers that needs sorting by evening.
