Btb Kisan Producer Company Limited is based at House Number 286 in the Kasturba Gandhi Ward. It’s a local setup through and through, right in the heart of the neighborhood. We started this to help the kisans around here get a better handle on their business. It’s a producer company, but we don't act like some big institution. We are just folks from the ward and the surrounding areas working together. Our office is basically just a house where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the latest harvest. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just talk to the farmers directly. Some days the house is full of people and it gets quite loud, but that’s how we get things sorted. We focus on the basics like seeds, equipment, and where to sell the crops. It’s not always easy, especially when the prices are all over the place, but we stick together. We don't use a lot of corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields pays off at the end of the day. It’s a simple operation in a regular ward, and we are fine with that. Everyone knows where House Number 286 is, so you can just drop by if you need anything. We are usually around during the day.
