Arihant Marbles

Arihant Marbles is located on Ramakrishna Care Hospital Road. We are right in front of Aurobindo Netralaya in Pachpedi Naka. It’s a busy part of town with all the hospitals and traffic. We’ve been here for a long time, selling all sorts of marble. The yard is usually a bit of a mess with slabs and pieces of stone everywhere. It’s just the three of us working here most days. We start early to get the heavy work done before it gets too hot. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. It’s just a regular yard where we keep the stone. People come in and walk through the rows to see what they like. We spend a lot of time moving slabs with the crane so people can see the full patterns. It’s honest, hard work and we enjoy it. We don’t do any of that polished marketing stuff. We just wear our old clothes and talk to people like normal. Some of the marble we get has really interesting colors. We like showing those off to whoever stops by. It’s a simple business. We buy the stone, we show it to you, and we help you load it up. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Pachpedi Naka over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a good, steady way to make a living in this neighborhood and meet different people.
