We are located on Mayur Talkies Road. It’s easy to find because Hanuman Chowk is right there and everyone knows it. The road gets busy when there’s a new movie playing or during festival times at the chowk. We deal in all kinds of steel. It’s a family thing for us. My father started this and now I’m running it with a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. The shop is mostly just a big storage space with a small area for us to sit and talk. We spend most of the day moving stuff around. Steel is heavy and it’s a lot of physical work on the body. My back hurts some days but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a website or any of that internet stuff. People just walk in or call us on the phone when they need something. We know most of the contractors around this part of town. They trust us because we’ve been here so long and they know we aren't going anywhere. Sometimes we run out of a certain size of pipe and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. Customers are usually okay with that. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. No big talk or fancy promises. Just selling steel and making sure the weight is right on the scale. In the evenings, we sit outside and watch the people going to the talkies. It’s a good place to be. We’ve seen the town grow quite a bit.
