Abhinavkissan Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the Gaobhag area of Rangoli. House number 481 is where we keep our office and tools. It is a small place, really just a single room where we can sit and talk about the harvest. We are a group of farmers who just wanted to do something together for a change. The name sounds a bit modern, but we are just normal people who spend our days in the dirt. Rangoli is a quiet place for most of the year. We grow whatever we can and hope for the best when it comes to the weather. It is a lot of work to keep a small farm going these days. We have to deal with bugs and the cost of seeds going up every season. We are not corporate types who wear suits and ties. You will usually find us in our regular work clothes, probably with some mud on our boots. We started this because it was getting very hard to survive on our own. By working together, we can share some of the costs. It is not always a perfect situation. Sometimes we have loud arguments about which way to go. But at the end of the day, we are all neighbors and friends. We just want to make sure our families can keep this going for many more years to come. We do not have a website or anything like that. Just this house in the village.
