We set up our space in Samartha Nagar, which is over in the Ramwadi part of Pen. Raigad is a nice place to be, though it gets very humid. We are mostly focused on the tech side of things here at Eyeglobal. It’s a small team of us sitting around desks with multiple monitors. The wires are a bit of a mess under the tables, but we know where everything goes. We started this because we wanted to work closer to home instead of commuting all the way to Mumbai every single day. Pen is a much better pace for us. Sometimes we have power cuts, so we just sit outside for a bit until the generator kicks in or the lights come back on. We do a lot of typing and looking at screens. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We have a small pantry where we make our own snacks and too much coffee. Most of the people around Ramwadi don’t really get what we do with all the computers, but that’s okay. We just tell them we are working on the internet. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one so people can find the right door. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working on tech stuff right here in Raigad.
