Anil Kadam

Anil Kadam is the name on the door here at Janabai Niwas. We are located at 111 Kamshet in the Antop Hill area. It is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where everything is a bit crowded and everyone knows each other’s business. The building itself has seen many years, and our space inside is just as lived-in. There isn't a big sign outside or any flashy decorations. It is just a place where work gets done every single day. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out with questions. The walls are a bit faded and the furniture is mostly old wood that has been around for a long time. Antop Hill has a certain energy to it, always busy and a bit loud with the sounds of the city. We have a small desk where most of the talking happens and some chairs for visitors. Sometimes the ceiling fan rattles a bit when it's on high speed during the summer months. It is a very simple setup. We don't try to look like a big corporate office because we are not. It’s just Anil Kadam working out of Janabai Niwas, trying to keep up with the daily tasks and helping out whoever walks through the door. We make our own tea on a small stove in the corner and keep going until the sun goes down. People know where to find us when they need help. Everything stays local here.
