Anand Niketan School

Anand Niketan School is located over at Plot No 495, right near the Amboli Railway Crossing. It is tucked away a bit on Taloja Balaji Road. You can usually hear the trains going by throughout the day, which becomes a bit of a background rhythm for the classes. The area around here is still developing, so there is often a bit of dust from the road construction or the trucks passing through. We started here because there was a need for a school that parents could actually reach without traveling for hours. The school building is simple, painted in colors that have faded slightly under the sun. We have a small playground area where the kids spend their breaks, and you can see them running around as soon as the whistle blows. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the railway gates are down and traffic piles up on the road outside. We deal with the usual school stuff every day like lost water bottles and messy notebooks. The classrooms are basic but they stay relatively cool. Most of the families living in the nearby apartments send their children here. We don't have a big glossy brochure or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been at this spot for a while. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in while the kids finish their work. It’s just how things go here.
