Sanjivani International School

Sanjivani International School sits on Plots 71 and 72 in Sector 18 of Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Kharghar is a pretty organized place, and our school fits right into the neighborhood. We have a decent-sized building where we’ve been teaching for a while. The humidity here in Navi Mumbai can be something else, but we have enough fans going to keep the classrooms okay. We aren't a big corporate entity; we are just a school with a bunch of teachers trying to help kids learn their subjects. The playground gets a lot of use during the breaks, and you can hear the kids all the way from the main road. Most of our staff live in the nearby sectors, so they don't have a long commute. We don't go for big, flashy slogans. Our day is mostly spent checking homework, explaining math problems, and making sure the kids follow the rules. Parents often stop by the gate to drop off forgotten lunchboxes or to talk to the office staff. It’s a very practical environment. We have the usual school events like sports day, but they are more about the kids having fun than anything else. Things aren't always perfect—sometimes a bell doesn't ring on time or we run out of chalk—but we just keep going. It’s a local school for local families, and we try to do a solid job every day.
