Kullakkudi School

Kullakkudi School is based in the Shantivan area of Sector 4 in Kharghar. Specifically, we are at E 37 in that society. Navi Mumbai is full of schools, but we are just one of the local ones serving the families in the 410210 zip code. The school isn't very big, which is actually quite nice because everyone ends up knowing each other pretty well. We are right there among the residential buildings, so for a lot of kids, it’s just a short walk from their front door to the classroom. The Shantivan area is usually quite peaceful, though you can hear the kids playing during their breaks. The rooms are simple with basic furniture and some posters on the walls. We don't have a massive cafeteria or a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just a place where children come to learn their lessons. The teachers are mostly local people who understand the neighborhood. During the day, the school is full of the usual sounds of reading and writing. When the final bell rings, the kids just spill out into the Sector 4 streets to go home. It’s an easygoing environment without any of that high-pressure corporate feeling you get in some of the newer institutions. We just focus on the basics and keep things running smoothly for the families who live nearby in Kharghar. We have been here for a while and we are just part of the local scenery now.
