Poorna Pragnya Degree College

Poorna Pragnya Degree College is out on Kota Road, right near the Hatti Gold Mines in Raichur. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where we have set up shop for the local students. The area is quite dry and can get very hot, especially in the middle of the day. Our building is a plain concrete structure that doesn't stand out much from the surroundings. We focus on offering degree courses for the young people who live near the mines or in the nearby villages. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when the students are hanging out between their lectures. We don't have a big campus with fancy gardens or anything like that. It’s just a set of rooms where people come to study. The staff here is small, and we handle everything from the admissions to the cleaning. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish or a big mission statement. We just want to make sure the students have a place to sit and learn. Most of the folks who come here are from working families, and they just want to get their degrees and find a good job. We keep things practical and don’t spend much time on things that don't matter for the exams. It’s a very basic setup, and we are fine with that. It’s just how things are out here on Kota Road for us and our students.
